Construction in GCISD

Current Projects

Based on the nature of renovation work, ongoing labor challenges, and long-lead times for key materials in the robust Texas construction economy coupled with ongoing supply chain delivery issues, all construction schedules are subject to change.

The next round of construction work for 2024 includes the replacement of HVAC equipment at several campuses and the replacement of the synthetic turf field at three middle schools.

In September 2023, the Board of Trustees approved these capital project improvements.

Renovations 2024

The following campuses will receive new replacement air conditioning equipment during 2024.

• Bear Creek ES

• Bransford ES

• Colleyville ES

• Dove ES

• Heritage ES

• Colleyville Middle School

• Cross Timbers Middle School

• Grapevine High School

The following campuses will receive new turf on the football/soccer field

• Colleyville MS

• Grapevine MS

• Heritage Middle School
